Yikes! We received a very generous trade offer the other day from Mehrgan and Parham at Linxprint. They offered to trade us a voucher for $400 worth of printing services in exchange for the landscaping! After a serious class discussion we agreed that this was a great trade - thank you Parham and Mehrgan! Could you use $400 worth of printing services? Why not make us an offer to trade! |

We traded a basketball, and came up with this: 4 hours of landscaping generously offered by Rob Boyd, owner of Endless Summer Landscape and Construction! Thank you Mr. Boyd!
If you need your garden to look perfect and colourful, make us a trade! We saw the Mayor of the North Vancouver District at our school today! Two of us went over to tell Mayor Walton what we are doing and ask him if he'd like to trade with us. We were a little nervous talking to a Mayor but he's actually very nice! So Mr. Walton, would you trade us something bigger and better for our basketball?
This afternoon our grade 4/5 teacher Mrs. Wilson offered us a basketball for our kendama. We weren't sure if it was better, but it definitely was bigger! Plus, instead of one person getting to play with a kendama, you can invite all your friends to play a game of basketball! And that's a good thing right? so we said 'OK' Does anyone want to trade us something bigger and better for our very cool basketball? You could make us an offer or leave a comment below suggesting what you'd like to trade!
PS. Please tell us a little about who you are and why you'd like the basketball. It's kind of neat for us to know. =-) A Kandama!
A kendama is WAY bigger and better than a lamp! So we said 'OK!'
We've only had our kendama for a few minutes and already a LOT of people are asking us if they can trade with us. Would You like to trade? Why not make us an offer? Bigger and better than a board game! Mr. Moser and his grade 3 class traded us this bedroom lamp for our board game. Plug it in and turn off the lights and your room lights up with stars... cool. Thanks Mr. Moser!
Would anyone like to trade us something bigger and better for our awesome lamp? Turns out someone did want some ribbon! Our grade 1 teacher Mrs. Dunbar thought it would be good for an art project, and she had a new game that was just a little too old for her grade 1 class. So we got a cool new game, which is WAY bigger and better than what we had before!
I wonder who would like a game for kids age 7 and up... I think we'll go and ask Mr. Moser down the hall. We then went to our E.L.L. teacher Ms. Corbett, to see if she might be interested in the post card. She was! She traded us this... ...and this... ...for the postcard!
Now who do we know who might be interested in a paper crane and some red ribbon? What's better than 2 packs of stickers? We went to ask Madame Haller across the hall and she offered to trade us for this: A cool 3-D postcard! 2 packs of stickers is pretty cool, but a 3-D post card is even cooler! Thank you Madam Haller!
Stickers! Thanks Mrs. Leung! 2 packages of stickers are definitely better than 1 eraser. Just think of all the things we could stick them on... Actually, some kids were wondering if we could keep some of the stickers. Nope - the goal is to trade 'bigger and better' to help Fort McMurray. So we are heading out with our stickers looking to make another trade.
